With your training, you maintain access to Drillpedia.net, our online encyclopedia for all things drill team! Cadets AND instructors should feel free to create an account and gain access!
To Join:
- Click the link above and enter your email address to create your account.
- A green checkmark will appear. Wait for it to go away and you should be redirected to a page with a banner that says "Don't Forget to Set A Password."
- Click this banner and set a password for your account!
- You should now be able to view any article or video on the site; if you CANNOT, hit “refresh” on your browser to force your login to take effect.
Get Prepared
45+ DAYS OUT
- Reserve suitable indoor space (large, open-air-style facilities such as a gym, cafeteria, etc.)! Indoor space is required if the heat index is a sustained 90+ degrees during the dates/hours of training.
- Reserve suitable outdoor space (easy access to shade/AC, flat ground, etc.)!
- Ensure all cadets sign the Required Waivers above.
30 DAYS OUT
- Create a plan to ensure cadets have access to water, snacks, lunch, etc.!
- Check to ensure all cadets have signed the Required Waivers above.
- IF YOUR PRIMARY TEACHER IS FLYING TO YOU, please have a LOUD Bluetooth Speaker & a Rolling Whiteboard Available!
7 DAYS OUT
- IF OUTDOORS, acclimate cadets by recommending they spend time outdoors in advance!
- Prepare all gear necessary for training (i.e. drill rifles, color guard equipment, etc.)!
- Begin HYDRATING well in advance of training!
- Ensure cadets attend in suitable training attire.
AFTER YOUR WORKSHOP
- Ensure all cadets can access Drillpedia.net with the instructions above for retention & future learning!
